Rules
- Men move diagonally forward but may capture both forward and backward.
- You must play the move that captures the most pieces (majority rule).
- Kings fly along diagonals; captured pieces are removed only after the chain ends.
- A man passing the back rank mid-chain is not promoted.
About the game
This is the deepest and most professionalized form of draughts, with grandmaster titles, world championships since 1885 and enormous opening theory. Sacrificing several pieces to force a winning king breakthrough is a signature motif.
